Your Heart is Part of this Transition Too!
Estrogen has a hand in blood pressure, vessel flexibility, cholesterol, how the body handles blood sugar, and when that hormone shifts, all of it can shift too, often without a single symptom to announce it.
Managing hot flashes or sleep matters. So does paying attention to your heart during these years, since this is often when cardiovascular risk starts building quietly.
This stretch of life is a chance to get ahead of that risk, supporting your heart now while while there's still room to act rather than react.
Hormone Therapy Is a Tool (But Just One of Many)
Yes, menopause hormone therapy (MHT) helps many women. For some, it’s even the most important piece. But it sits inside a wider set of choices, ones involving sleep, mood, metabolic health, nutrition, movement, and what your body will need going forward, not just this year but the years after.
Good care treats hormone therapy as part of a plan built around you specifically, weighed against everything else going on in your life, rather than treating it as the whole plan on its own.
Menopause used to barely come up in conversation. Now it’s a waterfall of podcasts, product lines, influencers, and headlines contradicting each other, sometime within the same day. Somewhere in that overwhelm, we lose the thread of what actually applies to our own body, history, and life.
Volume isn't the problem here. Direction is. And a trusted person to sort through the noise matters more than another article, list, or random opinion competing for your attention.
Less Clarity Despite More Information than Ever
-
We look at the full picture. Bloodwork, lifestyle, hormones, family history, medical history, and stress load, together, not in isolation.
-
We clarify your context and goals. Menopause support shouldn't be cookie-cutter.
-
We build a plan you can actually follow. Evidence-informed doesn't mean impractical.
